    Thank you for the reply. Most likely programs like Lightroom and Shotcut (both recommend 8GB). Currently I am running windows 7 on it. Its a good point about MB needing a new windows key. Do I understand correctly that the only compatibility I need to worry about is the CPU and RAM sockets...
