    Computer Upgrade

Hi, I would increase the RAM to 16 GB's and maybe consider upgrading the video card if you are not satisfied with the performance while using the emulators. You will have to see if the NVidia GTX 970 will be good enough for the settings and resolution you want to run.

    Terrible stuttering on some games

Hi, Have you tried lowering the resolution of the games to below a 1080p resolution and does that help with the stuttering? Are your video card drivers up to date?

    System Tray Disabled

Hi, Can you provide screenshots of the services you disabled? This is why its important that when you make changes to the Windows Services that you only disable a few at a time so that in case you cause an issue, you will know which service caused a problem that you should not have turned off...

Single GPU fan spinning up and down at idle

I would update your BIOS to the latest version as a solution. Other than that, you may have a faulty card as the fan should not be spinning up and down constantly.

Single GPU fan spinning up and down at idle

Have you installed the latest drivers for the video card from NVidia's website? Is your motherboard BIOS up to date? I would also try undervolting the card by 50 milli volts if possible to see if lowering the GPU temperature when idle will stop the fan from spinning.

    Lock out

Hi, Based on our posting guidelines, we legally cannot assist you with bypassing passwords as we have no way of verifying if this is your computer or not. I would advise doing a Google Search and looking for a utility that can help you with this but that is all we can offer. Thread closed.

    Can’t install operating system

Hi, Have you tried a different USB flash drive? Does the USB drive work on another computer? Can you try Downloading Windows 10 and see if creating a bootable media with Windows 10 will work.

Single GPU fan spinning up and down at idle

Hi, Have you checked the temperatures of the GPU to see if the card is overheating? Is the GPU new or used? Have other users reported the behavior with that particular card based on reviews? Have you tried taking the GPU apart and re-pasting the GPU with new thermal compound? Also, please...

Solved No POST beep. CPU fan does not start. Reset button does not work. Is it a PSU problem?

Sounds good. I will mark this thread as solved since you be buying a new motherboard and that will allow you to rebuild your system.

    Solved Stuttering in Games

You will need to visit your motherboard manufacturer's website to get the chipset drivers and make sure you visit AMD's website to get the latest video drivers for your video card.

Solved No POST beep. CPU fan does not start. Reset button does not work. Is it a PSU problem?

It definitely could be the motherboard but its impossible to narrow it down between the components without ruling out one of them completely so replacing the PSU will be the fastest way to be 100% sure that the motherboard is indeed the issue.

    Solved Stuttering in Games

Hi, In addition to the above post, do you have Windows 10 installed on the SSD? Have you tried lowering the resolution during gaming sessions to see if that helps? Have you opened up Task Manager to see if your CPU or GPU usage is hitting 100% usage?

Solved No POST beep. CPU fan does not start. Reset button does not work. Is it a PSU problem?

Hi, I would replace the power supply first as its easier to install and test to see if that is the issue. I would buy this unit and see if that resolves the issue, CORSAIR RMx Series (2021) RM650x CP-9020198-NA 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Power Supply.
