    Just the one : Intel Quick SPI Host Controller (i think is the exact name) with code 10, device failed to start. I tried disableing it, uninstalling it, trying to update it, get it new from hp, from intel, from web.

    When the laptop is in laptop mode there is no touchscreen. It works like a laptop. But everything works fine. When i flip the screen, it goes into tablet mode, meaning the screen changes but touchscreen doesn't work. Keyboard and touchpad are supposed to be disabled in tablet mode as far as i...

    That is the method i used. As you could see now, i have only 1 partition. Because i deleted all while booting from usb changed in bios. The 3rd party driver updater i tried as a last resort since nothing else worked. I know they're not to be trusted. On my laptop i have a sunscription to Norton...

    All that i've done, i did it after hp support told me i could do it as to not void warranty. Hopefully i won't have any problems. I could always send it but i really didn't want to wait 1 month for service and (by my limited knowledge in theese things) i still think it's not a hardware problem...

    I couldn't say exactlly what update because it's my wife's laptop and i noticed the problem after a while. The laptop is bought early november and it did a big update when configuring it and 1 small windows update after few days. Everything worked fine. The one i suspect is a big windows update...

    The thing is, when i bought it, everything worked well. After some updates i have in device manager the Intel Quick SPI Host Controller defaulted with the error the device cannot start (Code 10) status device power failure.     Hello guys. I have a problem with an HP Envy x360 2 in 1 laptop. After some updates i can no loger use the tablet mode on the laptop.
