    I know.. I shouldve been more careful with my compute but I'm learning along the way. What I dont get is that my computer can still be turned on - CPU and case fans work, Rx570 light is on and the PCI-e wifi has its green light so that is working too. If this is the case then a short circuit...

    Can the pc still be turned on if there is a short circuits motherboard? What would've caused this? I have tried with another psu. And yes, I've tried the keyboard and mouse in the other usb ports.

    Yes it was connected to the motherboard hdmi when the gpu was out. I would also like to add, I have a light up keyboard and mouse and they do not work when plugged in too.

    Sorry about that. Yes, I have removed the GPU from the mobo. Alright. Thank you, I couldnt see it on the list. Now I do.

    I have tried to connect the monitor to the motherboard but it is still the same outcome. Sorry I have another question, is a ryzen 5 3600 compatible with the motherboard I have?
