    Image shrinks if i turn off freesync?

    I have a 32" LG Ultra Gear 1080p monitor and am using windows 11. i changed my resolution on the pc to 1440 and naturally, the image shrunk. after changing the resolution back to 1920x1080, the image remained shrunken unless i turn on freesync.     I would never try to game with integrated graphics. There's a reason I bought the gpu. I've already purchased a 1200w psu, hoping that solves the issue. And that whole "AMD Certified psu" thing is total garbage.
