    It doesn't show up on the main tab of the bios but if I go over to the Advanced tab it shows up in storage configuration as SATA: PNY CS900 500GB SSD SATA Mode is AHCI mode And SATA Hot plug is disabled Does it have to be a USB or would an external hard drive work? I can probably get my hands...

    I failed to do that. I tried a reset once before and it failed as well but I was still able to load into windows afterwards that time. Do I have any other options in this situation or am I out of luck?
