    And I thought I had a restore point set for it however it has been a year-and-a-half since I've had the computer set up. When I did, I checked for a restore point and it only listed the current date. However I will go ahead and do as you've instructed and get back to you in just a moment.

    I get it. But the only software I'm using for this sort of thing is the same software I've used once (successfully) in the past as an alternate repair option since the standard Windows troubleshooting tools often tend to be inadequate. The only difference this time is that it is not working...

    Okay to put this as simply as possible, here's what happened leading up to my problem: --- I set my desktop up after it was stored away for some time. --- I updated everything including OS, apps, and games. --- Once I booted up one of my games it froze the entire system once the high graphics...
