    My computer (for as long as I know) has had indexing turned off. If I go to indexing it gives me the only option to rebuild. But if I press rebuild it says it will take time, but it does nothing.

    Just to add to this. I just had to restart my computer as it kept crashing every time I go on file explorer. I have now booted up and seems to work (for now) again.
