    PC wont start.

    When accessing BIOS it says 'BIOS Date: 10/16/2014' so I would assume I have BIOS.

    BIOS list HDD as: ST1000DM003-1ER162 I am not sure if my BIOS is UEFI BIOS or not. How do you tell? I will try puppy linux and get back to you.

    Bruce. When reloading windows using both USB and disk drive it just goes to the splash screen with the fancy 'Lenovo' logo, no error messages are observed.
