    Laptop randomly rebooting

Ok, got it. Right now I'm trying with it to see if the bios updates at least stops the reboots(even though the errors after I shut down still pop up in the event viewer). I think that I know the steps that I have to take. Thank you.

    Laptop randomly rebooting

Yes, the notebook is still under warranty. My fear is that even if it's a hardware problem and I send it to rma they won't be able to reproduce the problem and they won't do anything. How does these things work? Would keeping the windows events be of any help? And no, I didn't try with a single...

    Laptop randomly rebooting

I ran memtest86 and it didn't find errors, and of course the notebook didn't reboot during it. Does that mean anything?

    Laptop randomly rebooting

I think so. I got an error in the event viewer when I booted my laptop today. I think that it was because of my shutdown last night(that was completely normal by the way)? Yesterday I updated the BIOS to a version that claims stability improvements.

    Laptop randomly rebooting

I get both 159 and 0 codes. Is it possible that I didn't reconnect the battery propery, even if it seems to work fine?

    Laptop randomly rebooting

    Laptop randomly rebooting

I still didn't remove the ram, but yesterday I shut down the notebook and when I powered it on today I got a 41 ID 0 Bugcheck Code. Is this normal?

    Laptop randomly rebooting

Is there anything that I can do to force this reboot to happen after I remove it? Or do I just have to wait and hope? Also, I went into the Event Viewer and noticed that sometimes the bugcheck code fot the 41 ID events is 0 and sometimes it's 159(0X9F). Does it mean something?

    Laptop randomly rebooting

I have an Acer Aspire 7 that randomly reboots. In the Event Viewer an event with ID 41 shows up every time it happens. The Windows memory test detects no errors. I initially had Windows 10, did a clean install after some time and another clean install to get Windows 11. The problem persisted...
