    What's strange, s.m.a.r.t. does not even mention this (no read issues, no write issues ever) and the size is exactly as is came from the factory. Still it does not matter to me if the disk goes to a silicon heaven, the laptop is just for bedtime fun (yt, movies etc.)

    Thanx for the reply, I have already solved it. You're right, 2nd hdd needed clean install directly from the laptop (had to enable legacy in bios) and i managed to get rid of the install that was bsoding, in msconfig. That fixed me for good.
