    The problem is that even on the backup, I can get it to start, I can access Windows, but after an indefinite period of time, the computer shuts down and I have to repeat the same process for it to work again.

    Sorry for not being clear. After many tries i figured the problem is a corrupt BIOS. I managed to get it started on the backup BIOS.

    The CPU fan is running much slower than usual. When I boot into backup BIOS mode (MB switch), it seems to be working, but I am never able to acquire the image.

    New update: Without the GPU, I pressed the RST_SW button on the MB and normal startup followed. However, once again, it was impossible to acquire the image. I tried the same thing with the GPU, without success.

    Yes I did. It did work for a while, before closing out unexpectedly. I tried with and without keyboard / mouse. same result.

    Not working with the HDMI cable, nor with a DVI or a VGA cable. The motherboard debug code stops at b4 (USB hot plug) when I try to start it without the GPU. I have disconnected all the USB components. Without success.
