My scenario: My PSU is xxxx By adding the two Ram sticks I triggered an overload protection.

Since then, the problem persists. maybe i brought him or the end of his life?

Ok so I removed the CMOS battery for ten minutes and then I plugged the HDMI cable into the HDMI slot of the MB.

it started twice for about half a second before shutting down and restarting. The third time, the startup followed the normal procedure, with the video acquisition, but before arriving at the BIOS it again shut down by restarting continuously in loop.
Was this with the four sticks of RAM in the board.
Nope. Only with two of them.
Was it the new or the original RAM.
Can you answer this for us.

The PSU may have something to do with this but adding the fourth stick of RAM is not likely to have done any harm.

No option other than to wait on the new PSU I`m afraid, puzzling how you get further with the add on GPU when the system requires more power.

The mouse makes no difference but you must have a keyboard connected to the computer as the BIOS looks for one as part of the power on self test (POST) and when troubleshooting using a wired PS/2 type keyboard is better.

Something that I should make you aware of, the onboard video relies on the RAM to support it which means that if you have RAM issues you also get issues with the onboard video.

I received my PSU this morning. I installed everything, but to my amazement, it does not work, neither with two sticks, nor with the four and I tried the two pairs individually.

The computer starts for half a second and shuts down. I noticed that the HDD works longer than the duration of the motherboard boot.

New update: Without the GPU, I pressed the RST_SW button on the MB and normal startup followed. However, once again, it was impossible to acquire the image. I tried the same thing with the GPU, without success.

Sorry gemme380 but you going off and trying different things then multi posting is losing me and I have absolutely no idea what you mean by some of the info in your posts :(

I get that you pressed the reset switch and that you ended up with no display but what do you mean by "and normal startup followed"

When I boot into backup BIOS mode (MB switch), it seems to be working, but I am never able to acquire the image

Again I understand that you ended up with no display but have no idea what you mean by the rest.

It would be better all round if you did one step at a time, did what was suggested and then provided feedback and avoid multi posting unless it is essential.

Sorry for not being clear.

After many tries i figured the problem is a corrupt BIOS. I managed to get it started on the backup BIOS.

The problem is that even on the backup, I can get it to start, I can access Windows, but after an indefinite period of time, the computer shuts down and I have to repeat the same process for it to work again.

If the computer is working now do the following, if not working now do it the next time that the computer is working and please only post back if you have the Speccy url for us or something drastic happens.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
