    Custom Laptop

I'm hoping to get something done on it next week/two weeks from now. I'm going to be ordering the black or white Plexi this weekend. I've got some other stuff on my plate as I said but I'm trying to get around to it.

    Annoying Scammers

Usually if it's an automated service you can stay on the line. After the robot is done talking "Press one to connect or two to hang up". If you wait a few seconds the robot usually has a third option to be placed on an internal do not call list. (Usually pressing 9) Also, answering the phone...

I'll post updates as they come, as for now I'm stretched thin between my paychecks so this isn't a priority for me.

Well I honestly don't know the first thing about soldering or any kind of electrical stuff like that so I just bought a 22" Samsung monitor. I'm probably going to get a sheet of black Plexiglas to use as the encasement. I'm planning on taking the monitor out of the "shell" but right now I'm...

    Mhl vs Super MHL

@vger I'm not keen on trying this as last time it fried the HDMI cord. I realized that I don't actually have the right hook up for it. I need to get a type c to micro USB hook up to try this. Currently I'm working on the laptop project so this is kind of on hold until I get some extra cash...

    Custom Laptop

Well I got a Samsung monitor. It didn't say that it was or wasn't able to run off of DC power so I'm not sure if it will work. I got a keyboard mouse combo so I'm currently trying to figure out how to use the monitor as a laptop monitor (hinging it etc).

@yger This is based off of the 15" monitor. It's crummy and not completed yet but it's just a conceptual.

@vger Not currently. I'm still trying to figure out if the monitor I have posted is a good monitor that would run off of a small battery (like a laptop battery) for an effective amount of time. I'll probably be buying either the monitor or the connection cord this weekend since I don't make...

    Mhl vs Super MHL

I'm wondering if anyone knows or has tried this; as you may or may not know, MHL has finally returned. Those who don't know what that is: you can plug any device S5 or older into a TV through HDMI using an adapter. S5 note through S7 Edge didn't have MHL. MHL was designing super MHL which is now...

    Custom Laptop

Thanks for that info, I didn't know that! I guess I'll be building one from scratch. I work with plastics so a custom case won't be hard, just knowing what type of monitor I'll need to use and what the battery specs are going to need to look like then! Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

    Custom Laptop

I'm working on building a laptop that's just a screen and a keyboard & mouse. (No hardware on the inside other than that). The monitor I'm looking for needs to have at least one HDMI input and to be able to run off of a battery. I'm more knowledgeable on the software rather than the hardware...
