    i was only trying one at a time anyway, not both together. figured too much hardware can mask the issue at hand. however for someone else reading, it may prove productive.

    will do, hopefully a bios update is all thats needed but will however require waiting until thursday for pay day.

    it would probably be more stable yeah, but for finances at the moment, this will have to suffiece. i've requested to return the ram i have in favour of the lower speed ram, which ironically costs more! even though its same brand and model line.

    1070 gpu take it to a shop for them to update it for me as they'll likely have a cpu to use for it hdmi and vga

    shooot, so i've never had that happen before, the cpu cant use the ram? im going to update the bois to f20 anyway and see what happens after that, if needs be i will return the ram and get lower speed ram

    as a tohught had it been shorting out, wouldnt that prevent the bios from beeping when ram modules removed? and wouldnt that beeping also confirm the cpu is working and compatible?

    ive checked the motherboard isnt grounded out, its fine, i cant install ANYTHING because it doesnt post. yes it was tested outside the case and nothing is different to it being inside the case. i also have an antistatic mat for this kinda thing. ive also checked all cables are seated correctly...
