I’m kinda noobish with this things and kinda need help. I just got new laptop HP 250 G7 6MR38ES and i was planning to replace its DVD to optical drive. I found out that DVD is DVD-RW DA-8AESH and I looked up it’s specs and it says it has 9mm height which is weird beacuse I though standards were 9.5,12.5 and 12.7 mm. I was looking up optical drive to rasplace that DVD with and found ICY BOX IB-AC649 optical drive. My question is: will that work, also when I’ll be looking for a HDD to put in optical drive does height of HDD matter also?
