Opportunity to extend Windows 10 until 2026

So MS shows that I can enroll to extend security updates for Windows 10 until October 13 2026 (why would I have to enroll?). When I go to the Enroll page, in typical MS manner, it becomes so cryptic and unrelatable that I don’t know what to do. Anyone else run into this?

I just did it on my Moms laptop. It was simple. I clicked the enroll link within Windows update settings and she was enrolled.
