Guys im trying to get UEFI for Thais mainbord. The official Gigabyte only has Legacy BIOS, but that doesnt work with win 11 so i cant boot it up. Im Not familiar with flashing booting or hacking so im Herr Go ask for help. Id be glad if someone could Guide me through on Home to get UEFI for the proper bootup.
The Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Rev 1.0 unfortunately does not include native UEFI support. Gigabyte later released Revision 2.0 of the same board which added UEFI firmware, but the Rev 1 hardware is limited to Legacy BIOS.
That means there is no official or safe UEFI BIOS available for your specific revision, and flashing a Rev 2 BIOS onto a Rev 1 board would almost certainly brick it.
If you wish to run Windows 11, here are your options:
Install Windows 11 in Legacy (MBR) mode using bypass methods for Secure Boot and TPM.
Continue using Windows 10 until you’re ready to upgrade your hardware.
Upgrade to a newer motherboard that natively supports UEFI, TPM 2.0, and Secure Boot.
If you’d like, we can walk you through installing Windows 11 in Legacy mode with the necessary bypass steps. Just let us know.
