It’s not just about the CPU but fwiw Minimum and Recommended System Requirements (League of Legends)
If you need anything further we are going to need more information from you about your present hardware;
Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM ( including the amount, number of sticks and speed ) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable helpers to better assist you. -

i will build a new pc. i picked other parts. i will buy 5080, 32 gb ram and gen4 m.2 ssd. but i cant decide which cpu i should choose. 9700x has more ghz than 9800x3d and probably better at programing. im just not sure 3d v-cache is better at league.Originally posted by phillpower2It’s not just about the CPU but fwiw Minimum and Recommended System Requirements (League of Legends)

That wasn’t the question that you asked in your LoL related OP which was what the given answer was based upon.
That is not how you go about building a rig, you decide on the CPU first, then the MB, then the RAM, the drives, the PSU and then the chassis and any additional fans etc.Originally posted by Kayra Moralesi will build a new pc. i picked other parts.
The best gaming CPUs are list here and word of advice, make sure that any CPU that you go for has onboard video, you use this in the initial set up of the rig + it is your safety net should anything ever go wrong with the add on GPU.
Can I ask that you do not quote every reply as we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed, thanks.Comment

Considering that the recommended CPU was released in 2017, any CPU released in 2024 would be more than adequate.
Another consideration should be the monitor. The refresh rate of the monitor will affect the FPS.
