A friend has a Samsung Tab A9 and uses it to mainly play games. At some time she must have tapped on an advert to install the Cleanmyphone app.
This is very intrusive and pops up all the time with frightening messages telling her that she has a virus and needs to download things to sort it out.
She has Avast anti virus installed and that reports that all is OK.
Cleanmyphone doesnβt appear in the apps list in settings, neither does it appear in the apps list in the Play Store. But it does have a tab that appears on the tablets home screen. Tapping and holding on this doesnβt do anything.
Any ideas on how to uninstall it please?
