Extensive PC Clean

I want to clean my PC extensively just as something to do and for my own security.
I’ve gone through this [MEDIA=reddit]techsupport/comments/33evdi/suggested_reading_official_malware_removal_guide[/MEDIA] recently, but I want to be sure.
Any help appreciated, or if there is a premade set of instructions I can follow I’d appreciate it.
