my knowledge on pcs is very limited my ex boyfriend built mine. So i was cleaning my pc yesterday and took out my graphics card, put it back in and went to set it up. plugged hmdi cable into my monitor and pc, turned it on and “analog” and “hmdi 1” kept switching in the top left corner, my graphics card seems fine, the fans are going when its on, obviously the monitor is recognising there is a hdmi cable plugged in but im just getting no image, im not sure what to do and i dont want to bring it somewhere to get fixed because i am a young female who would be overcharged lol, any advice would be great

where on the PC died you plug the HDMI cable into - the graphics card port or higher up on the back into the HDMI port of the motherboard?

it may be that simple. :)
