WXP File asms

Hi

I am installing a WXP OS

I get the message ' The file asms on WXP service pk2 is needed. Type the path where the file is located.
Copy files from GLOBALROT\DEVICECDROM\1386.

When I type regedit.exe into cmd I get 'The system cannot execute the specified program'.

How can I solve it please?

Thank you

I feel I shall have to forgo the installation. I cannot slipstream because I do not have the original Disk. I got the disk through a third party from someone who works on PCs. He probably thinks I know more than I do. I intended to get WXP o, then W7 Disk in. Thebn use it as a server. This is because I have two redundant WXPs and just wanted to put them to use.
