As the title suggests I am having trouble using the SSD ( connected to my computer via a 3.1 USB external adapter since my motherboard does not support NVME) that contains a fresh install of Windows 10. I used WintoUSB to make it happen since you cant traditionally doe so via a thumbdrive boot. And while I did get a fresh install of windows up and running, my old HDD drives are not connected and every time I try to format them and get them to work my computer blue screens saying there is a problem and the progress bar never exceeds 0%. Not only that but after the restart it goes back to my OLD install of Windows and I have to unplug and replug the adapter to get it to go back to the new install state. I think it may have something to do with the old OS but I'm not sure how to get rid of it without deleting all of the data on that drive, if that's even possible.
