• Windows 10
• ITunes 64 bit installer from I Tunes web site
• All: Windows Defender and Bitdefender OFF

I had a older version of iTunes on my PC and have been using it. BUT, every time I try to update iTunes it runs through 70% of the install and then quits... See screen shots 1 & 2.

I went to to Apples download for iTunes and downloaded the 64 bit Install.

I uninstalled ALL of my iTunes files rebooted and tried it again..... same issue.

Any ideas how I can reinstall iTunes and be able to update it as needed?

Thank you!
Reesche

just double checking, you uninstalled all Apple Inc products, there's like 7 of them, including Bonjour, iCloud etc?
that error message doesn't give away too many clues!

long shot, what about trying to install from Safe Mode to eliminate any background app interference.
also try from another user account.
and start a command prompt and do a sfc /scannow to check for Win10 corruption, and while you're at it, check for Win10 updates.

And you should be thankful you can't install it, bloatware extraordinaire, but if you have to have it

Have you tried right clicking on the installation file and selecting "Run as Administrator?
Also make sure you have no Apple devices plugged in.

Have a look HERE
