will a USB 3.0 PCI card be faster than USB 2.0 in any of these PCI slots?

My motherboard has these PCI slots according to the specs: (I know it's old but I can't upgrade right now)

- PCI Express 2.0 x16 (single at x16 or dual at x8/x8 mode)
- PCI Express 2.0 x16 (alt x4 mode, 2.5GT/s)
- PCI Express 2.0 x1 (2.5GT/s)
- PCI

I don't understand all of that, but what I'm trying to find out is if I buy a PCI card with USB 3.0 ports, will it give me better USB speed than the USB 2.0 ports I have? I don't know how to determine if USB 3.0 transfer rate would be limited by any/all of these PCI ports.
