Why can't my pc run games that smooth

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

We can see a few things going on in Speccy, will be as brief as your reply #3 is just in case you are in a rush and don`t have time to read a wall of text

Starting from the top of the report;

You have the wrong specification RAM for the CPU that you have.

You have multiple AVs present on the machine.

The power plan is set wrong.

Windows is well out of date.

Apologies TheRealUnfitFatty I had the wrong spec of RAM and yours is ok as long as it is overclocked to 2666MHz.

To address what does need addressing, we can see Bitdefender AV but there is also evidence of Avast AV as well, you don`t need either when running Windows 10 as Windows Defender is as good as BD and better than Avast.

Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 come with an improved Windows Defender, it offers the same real-time anti-virus/anti-malware protection as Microsoft Security Essentials. Windows Defender also shares the same malware signature definitions as Microsoft Security Essentials, and Forefront Endpoint Protection. Technically, Microsoft Security Essentials has not been renamed Windows Defender, or combined with it in Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.

Having more than one AV installed on your computer is bad, it will slow down the computer, cause internet connection problems and leave you with no AV protection at all if they cancel each other out as they fight for resources.

If any AV product that you have is a paid for version you should always make sure that you have a copy of the product key kept somewhere safe just in case you ever wish to reinstall it.

You can uninstall Avast in the Control Panel but should you have any problems see Avast clean removal info here Please create a new system restore point first.

If you stick with only Windows Defender, once any other AV has been correctly uninstalled, check to see if Windows Defender has auto enabled and allow it to update and carry out a full scan of your computer.

Power Profile
Active power scheme: High performance

Change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, High Performance is a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues.

For the Windows updates, see info here please note that you must install update 1903 first or you will not be able to install the latest update 1909.

Any improvement since you made the changes?

If you check the specs of your CPU here you will see that the supported memory is DDR4 2666MHz and for some unknown reason AMD say here 2667MHz regardless of which speed, your RAM needs to be overclocked to achieve 2666/7MHz as atm it is shown to only be running at 2132MHz.

While we look at your updated Speccy url do the following and see how things go, predominantly the Valley FPS test.

Edit to add: You still have avast on your computer, did you follow both steps suggested in my reply #6 for as how to remove it.

Those results suggest that there is nothing wrong with your hardware and the problem lays elsewhere, we need to sort out the Avast issue before doing anything else I`m afraid as it could still trip up Defender and interfere with your internet connectivity.

Did you use the alternative means of getting rid of Avast, namely avastclear

Strange, lets see if we can get rid of them another way;

Post an Autoruns log for us, see here

1: Extract the Autoruns Zip file contents to a folder.

2: Double-click the "Autoruns.exe".

3: Click on the "Hide Signed Microsoft and Windows Entries” option.

4: Go to File then to Export As or Save in some versions.

5: Save AutoRuns.txt file to known location like your Desktop > when you click on File > Save you will then get the option to Save as type, click the drop down tab, change it to Text and then click the Save button.

NB: Getting rid of these orphaned Avast files may not resolve you gaming issue but it does need to be done and asap, as previously mentioned Avast could affect Windows Defender compromising its ability in protecting your computer + Avast and most notably the plug ins that it foists on folk are notorious for affecting internet connectivity.

Don`t worry about how long things take, we are here as long as folks need us

Using the To Disable or Delete? option as is explained at the tutorial here can you find and delete the entry that you can see below which btw is a pesky browser plug in.

We got rid of one but there are still two services remaining, this is why avast has fallen out of favour with so many folk

Any improvement since you got rid of the avast scheduled update checker.

I do have a hardware test in mind but until we get rid of all traces of avast we will have no way of knowing if the orphaned avast files are responsible, run Process Explorer to see if it detects these rogue files, you can either download it or run it live from here
