Solved White light on motherboard and display not working

Status
Not open for further replies.
This morning I bought a new CPU and RAM to replace my old ones as they had been unchanged for around 4 years. I switched out both of them the exact same way I installed them and now my display is not turning on and I have a white light on my motherboard with the label CPU under it. I have checked extensively to see if my RAM and CPU are compatible with my motherboard and they are according to the MSI website but it’s still not working. I have also tried switching the position of the RAM, reseating the CPU and it’s fan and trying the display in different ports. Any help would be much appreciated.
