Solved Whats the difference between an unlocked and Verizon unlocked phone?

I am going to be purchasing a Galaxy S8 on ebay and I've seen ones that just say unlocked and then ones that say for example Verizon unlocked, or T-Mobile unlocked. Does that mean they are unlocked but only work on that carriers network, and the ones that say just unlocked will work on any carriers network?

Quote: This means that the owner can slide in a SIM card from any wireless carrier in his or her region to start making calls, surfing the Internet, and benefiting from any of the services available on that carrier's network for its customers. In contrast to locked phones, an unlocked phone is not tied to a specific carrier.

So even if the phone says Verizon unlocked or Sprint unlocked I can still use it with any carrier as long as they support that phone model? because I was just afraid that if I got a phone that was Verizon unlocked than I would only be able to use it on the Verizon network.
