Hi guys, Just thought I would start a random debate here.

So I would interested to know from all you gamers out there... which consoles do you own and prefer?

Are you a Playstation, Xbox or Switch fan?
Perhaps you still own an iconic gaming machine of the past?
Or maybe you swear by the good old pc for all your gaming needs?

Let's hear some responses ;)

I bought a PS4 on year one and bought maybe 3 games for it total since then. It's been a paperweight for a long time. And now, with PS4 Pro out, I'm holding out on some great games (*** of War, Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc.) because I consider it to be a waste of money to buy new generation games for a gimped console.

PS4 vs. Xbox? PS4 has the better exclusives, without a doubt. Microsoft understands their customer-base far better than Sony, though (cross-platform gaming).

The console I'd want the most right now? Switch. Mario Odyssey and Zelda look fantastic.

The platform I'm using? PC, forever and always. You never run into the issue of having to worry about a gimped console due to the generational gap. I'm still using my GTX 980 from years ago for top tier games.

Yes, it would seem that PS4 are winning with exclusive titles at the moment, as opposed to the last generation of consoles, where I preferred the xbox. I am a huge fan of the the Halo games, Fable and what sold it for me was my minecraft addiction (Minecraft was only released on 360 originally). However when you look at Xbox One vs PS4.... The latest Halo addition was a disappointment, Fable 4 is never coming out and Minecraft is on both. I do like the Forza Motorsport games too but Gran Turismo is a close match.

I agree. Despite whether you're an Xbox or PS fan, Nintendo have always been in a league of their own. Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong and Pokemon have always been some of the best quality games which are exclusive to Nintendo (And no I don't even acknowledge the Philips CDI versions, what a wasted opportunity XD).

Yes, we can not deny that pc gaming with it's extensive amount of backwards compatibility options for older games as well as an amazing amount of mods cannot be beaten by a games console. I do however like to sit in my lounge with my consoles hooked up to my huge TV screen..... but then I got a Nvidia Shield with Steam connected to it and... I do sometimes question the need for my consoles ;)

How's Nvidia Shield working for you? Monster Hunter: World had some major flickering issues with it.
I haven't played that one but there are a couple of games where I have experienced this issue. However it only happens occasioanly so it doesn't really disturb my gameplay.
