Use TV Screen As A Screen for Laptop

As Freebooter suggested, certainly possible but depends on what kind of connections are available on the TV and the laptop. HDMI are preferred.

What version of windows?
There are keyboard commands that can be used.

Some automatically do see the TV and or Monitor and automatically go there.
You may not see a screen until you get to the windows log in or I have had some that do not show until past that.

All that can be done is tried and see.
