USB Serial No driver available

Hello, I recently bought a new gaming pc and I am trying to get my ambilights to work. I had them plugged in to my gaming laptop and they were working fine. All I did was unplug the usb from laptop and into the new pc and I cannot seem to figure out how to get them working. Before they were just plug and play I plugged them in and they showed in the device list as usb device com 1 (or whatever usb it was plugged in). Now when I plug them in on the new pc it just says USB Serial and under it Driver unavailable. I have searched everything trying to figure out a solution and can't find anything. I use ambibox software to run them.

and if you plug them back into the laptop, they work?
what's the difference between the two rigs: OS for example? or build/version?
and they required no installation software when first used on the laptop?

There was no required installation on the laptop other than ambibox. Yes lights still worked on it right before I plugged them in to the new pc. Both rigs are windows 10.

Still haven’t found a solution. However I moved my entire rig over the weekend and plugged them back in after being unplugged for over a week. And two of the 58 leds lit up green with the pc powered off. As soon as I turned it on they turned off. I doubt this helps at all but thought I’d share.
