UPGRADE HELP

I recently purchased a renewed hp elite 8300 from amazon(you can go look them up on amazon, they average around $150). i dont plan on doing any major gaming, but i still want to upgrade this thing to its fullest potential. my girl plays "planet zoo", and its a little laggy. i plan on editing movies on this PC, and some of my movies are gonna be 4k, and i know that 4k has a few system requirements. i dont want to edit an entire feature length movie, and then have to wait a week for it to process and convert. im going to put a link to the amazon page of the pc that i bought, so you guys can look and see exactly what im working with. i just need to know the max upgrades i can do, without having to change motherboards. i want to upgrade power supply, RAM, CPU, graphics card, and anything else that will improve performance. im not a computer/tech guy, so im just opening up and being honest about my knowledge and capabilities....there almost non-existent haha. so please, help me get the most out of the system that i have. thank you, Rob

As this pc is not new by computer standards and will have HP custom parts, you will be better off just using it as it is until you can afford a system that will do what you intend a pc to do. Sorry but it will still struggle with games no matter how much you spend on it.

ok, i take back the gaming aspect. forget i said that. what im really getting at, is what are the absolute best parts that THIS pc can handle. i just want to make THIS pc run as best as it can. im not a pc gamer at all. i do my gaming on XB1. so i guess the bottom line question is, what are the best parts that i can put in THIS pc?

no, no help yet. its ok, the pc runs great as is. i would just like to upgrade it, but i dont reakky know the inner workings of a pc. so i dont know what parts are compatible. any info will help. best possible ram, power supply, cpu, etc.

You mentioned that you were going to include a link, without knowing the present specifications there is no way that we can even hazard a guess to what if any upgrade options you may or may not have.

From doing research it would appear that there are potential problems with the PSU with this computer which makes it tricky when wanting to fit an add on GPU.

Take a look at the thread here and get back to us with your thoughts.
