Unstable pc since cpu upgrade

Status
Not open for further replies.
Good morning.
I recently upgraded my cpu to a ryzen 7 5800x3d. After which my pc became very unstable graphic artifices reboots etc. I thought I had had a problem with my rtx3080 and returned it for refund. Purchased a ASU’s tug gaming rtx4070ti to find I have exactly the Same issue. The reason I thought it was a faulty gfx was because a rtx2060 worked perfectly with the new cpu.
I am at a dead end now not knowing where to go next
Any help will be grateful
Reb

You have asked for help but have told us nothing about your hardware

Can you Download and run and then post. https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

The last part of each URL is randomized, so only people you provide with the URL will be able to find your profile.

The information given in Speccy cannot be used by anyone to hack your system

Could you also include the power supply specs E.g Cooler Master 850W Gold V2 NOT E.g 850w

Thank you for your help noob to this

You are presently running with only the one stick of RAM, have you had any problems while running this way.

Can you also let the helper here know whether or not you still require their assistance, they afforded you an offer of help so please return the courtesy.

Yes I still have problems, and would still like assistance if available, I replied to Peters last request as far as I am aware.
Sorry if its not right, I am not knowledgeable in pc's

You are now following the guidance of Pk over at BC when it was suggested that you let then know whether or not you still require their assistance,

We are always happy to help when we can but we cannot safely do so if you are already receiving assistance on any other forum, doing so may lead to confusion as to whose and what guidance you are following which can be both dangerous and costly, decide on which forum you wish to continue and as a courtesy let the other/s know that assistance is no longer required.

Thank you for your understanding.
