I had posted last month about intermittent audio issues, which I believe that I had discovered was due to hardware issues with my headset. Recently however I have had the same issues occur with both my mouse and my mic.
In my device manager I have an unknown device with a root of USB\AMDROOT_HUB31\5&6B2518F&0&0. I have reinstalled my chipset drivers and updated all of them. This has not solved the issue. I have read that this likely means I have a hardware issue.
As is not possible at this time for me to purchase a new motherboard, is there a way for me to verify my problem and perhaps avoid using the damaged USB ports in favor of those that might still be working?
Solved - Audio Help
Sound is cutting out for a moment on both headphones and speakers, first a pop, then programs will lag, then audio returns. I have tried updating reinstalling audio drivers, I have also done a reset. Worried the issue is hardware and not sure what to try next.
