Unable to connect to network until restart (PC)

Recently when I turn on my desktop it will not connect to the internet and gives me the 'Unable to connect to network' message. However if I restart the machine it connects straight away and works great. I do not have these issues when using my Android phone or my Acer tablet.
I am not very tech savvy when it comes these thing and am seeking help to resolve it.
At this point I have not done anything for this issue.
My desktop is an HP Pavillion desktop 590
My router is an Actiontec xDSL Router
I am running Windows 11 Home
My internet connection is DSL through Windstream.
My modem is a Windstream Wi-Fi Modem T3200
Please let me know if you can help, and if so what other information you may need.
Thank you,
Gerry Arquillo

1) Are you attempting to connect to your router wireless?
2) If so, what "electronics" are you using at the computer to do so?
3) When you don't connect, how long after do you restart the computer?

You can try to rebuild your network profile first - I am NOT 100% sure this is going to help, but it's worth a try.
If you ARE wireless, are you using a USB dongle? Get rid of that and get a wireless card for the pc.
Lastly, try disabling your Firewall and restart several times to see if that prohibits the connection.

I am using a desktop that is directly connected to the DSL line.
I have wireless router so we can use our tablets and phones.
I will try disabling your Firewall later today when I get home from work and let you know if that helps.

I have Norton Anti Virus installed. I turned off the Norton firewall. It seemed to work at first but when I logged on second time I again got the 'Unable to connect to network' message.
