After Microsoft announced that the next version of Windows will be a "Service" like Office 365, it now tries to connect itself with the biggest rival-Linux.
" Here's a statement that would have been unimaginable in previous years: Ubuntu has arrived in the Windows Store. As promised back in May, you can now download a flavor of the popular Linux distribution to run inside Windows 10. It won't compare to a conventional Ubuntu installation, as it's sandboxed (it has limited interaction with Windows) and is focused on running command line utilities like bash or SSH...."

Oh Lord.. :LOL:

The positive thing is that some people who -still- view Linux as a " geeks only" thingy, may get bold enough to give it a go.

I do admit though that getting people to try Linux is a bit unusual -suspicious ?- coming from Microsoft.

Maybe some executive came up with the idea that letting users see Linux is more difficult to learn than Windows will be beneficial to MS.
