Solved Trouble Downloading

My phone is a ZTE N718 running Kitkat 4.4.4, I use Chrome as my browser. I would like to know how to change the download location in Chrome. It says it is saving all DL's to my phones internal storage, but i would like it to save the DL's to my SD Card. I see nothing in Chrome settings to do that, which is weird because in the PC version of Chrome under Settings>Advanced, you can change the DL Location. So basically is there a way to change the DL location on my phone? Or do i have to just try another Browser?

The stock Download Manager in the stock Android OS is basic at best. You might be better served to try one of the download managers from the Google Play Store. I use ES File Manager which has a download manager built in so I can direct downloads where I want them.

Sometimes the DL location can not be changed unless the phone is rooted. This is especially true for Samsung phones.
I ended up just installing a new browser, UC Browser, and that allows me to pick the location of downloads, that hasn't eliminated the problem 100% though. I am still having problems when it comes to other apps, a lot of other apps will only allow for me to save to the phones internal storage and not my SD card for some reason. I also noticed that i am not able to move any of my apps to my SD card since my system memory is getting low. Sometimes when trying to save to SD card it will say that it is read-only, which isn't true.
