touchpad broken! How to work machine??

Hello, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T450s & the touchpad is broken - it had crap stuck under it & I broke it trying to clean. So no need to suggest software fixes.

I have googled & instructions say 'open control panel' & click on activate mouse' & all that stuff I can't do without a mouse/touchpad! Found shortcut instrucs - which don't work for me - one includes NUM LOCK which I don't think exists on my machine...

Please someone instruct me how to get in?? Or can I somehow access remotely without getting into it??

Ust the windows key to open the windows menu and then use the arrow keys to navigate the list.

Or you can try this to access the Control Panel.
  1. Press Win + R to open the Run command dialog box.
  2. Finally, type Control Panel and then click OK.
