Totally confused on which laptop to buy

So I've got a shortlist of 3 laptops:

I'm struggling on deciding which one to buy due to the fact that two have a 7th gen processor while the y530 has an 8th gen so it's around 10% faster however the other two have a 1060 gtx which means its graphics is around 50%+ better. The difference between the Asus and Lenovo then comes down to ram and ssd so which out of the 3 is the best laptop and will have the longest longevity?

Yes, they have less SSD space, but SSD only really worths for the OS to load faster, and those programs you want to start right away. Wich 128 GB is enough.
However, they have double RAM which will boost your gaming performance by a ton, GTX 1060 6GB it's enough to play any game.

The processor of the Asus it's amazing. I have an i5 2.8GHz and it's crazy fast, so an i7 2.8GHz (3.8 overclocked) is overpowered.

The biggest difference, the Wifi Adapter on the Asus can support up to 5GHz speed, more than the others can. Faster download, upload speeds, and less ping.


I would recommend you the Asus, I have some computer knowledge, from when I built my gaming rig.
The advantages:
  • Better Wifi Adapter (up to 5 GHz wifi)
  • Best Processor (same as Lenovo Y720), Quad Core i7 2.8GHz up to 3.8GHz overclock
  • Best Graphics Card (same as Y720), GTX 1060 6GB
  • Double RAM (same as Y530)
However, as I said before it has less SSD space. But the cost-benefit of having best GPU, Processor, RAM and Wifi Adapter overlaps the SSD space.

Ah okay I was just contemplating I5 8th gen + 1050 gti vs I7 7th gen + 1060 so thank you for clearing it up but with the Asus apparently the screen quality is somewhat poor so wouldn't that negate the GPU?

The screen is good, 15.6" 1920x1080 Full HD Anti-Glare is a good option.
Not the best screen, but considering how good the rest is I think it's the most viable option. It will just delay a bit, for example instead of having a 5 millisecond refresh rate, it has 8 or 9. Or instead of 10 milliseconds of input delay, it has 16 maybe.

So yeah, in my opinion buy the Asus laptop, the most viable option for gaming.

Ah okay, because its a 60hz refresh rate while the y530 is 120/140 and I'm not to sure about the y720.

Also would the Asus FX504 be a better option or not as that has an 8th gen I7 but 8gb of ram and 1050ti?

Having a 60 GHz refresh means it can only support up to 120 FPS, higher than that you barely notice any difference. Mine has a 60 GHz refresh rate and I can play Fortnite, Counter-Strike, and many others with no issue.

The difference between 7th and 8th gen is not much, especially with such an overpowered processor the difference is nearly null.
1050 Ti, being Ti is better for overclocking, which with such an overpowered rig, no need for overclocking.

Ah okay because most people have said 1050ti's just bottleneck the system so you should avoid them at all costs
also I saw this laptop https://www.ebuyer.com/842016-cyberpower-gaming-tracer-ii-laptop-ecc02010
only issue is its from an unknown company and the specs it says it has isn't supported on the website so should I get that or the Asus?
