Hi there,
i have become a bit desperate. I have built the same system with different brand components three times in a row. First time was an asus b-350-f-gaming with a gskill ripjaws v set of 2x8gb-3200mhz that after a bios update two slots and one dimm were damaged. Ok lesson learned. If everything works fine then dont update bios. Second time was a msi-x-460-gaming-plus with one remaining gskill ripjaws v. After a while my ethernet port stopped working. I solved the problem with an external lan card. This happened out of the blue. I did not interact with anything inside my case or installed any new software. After sometime and again out of the blue i have two damaged slots of ram on mobo. A little after my last upgrade i had an electrician home checking my kitchen. He said that my grounding cable was damaged and i no longer had a grounding system. Ok that made sense and it could have been the reason my pc was damaged twice. I repaired the electrical home problem. I bought new psu just in case (evga supernova), new mobo (msi b450 gaming pro carbon max wifi) new ram set (corsair vengeance 3200mhz 2x8gb). Again out of the blue at some point after some unreasoned restarts my pc stopped recognising on speccy my ram brand (it could be a bug but earlier it did). I assumed it was a bug and ignored it. After some time i noticed fps drops in an unusual way. As im out of luck i assumed what was wrong and i checked my bios just to confirm for one more time that one dimm was off and also one slot. So again i can not dual chann. Before i send everything to my trash can and before i quit from what i like how could i check what is causing all this?
