Hi, I wonder if you can help me. I've run Wiztree and see that I have 18,000 files using 300Gb of HDD space in the Windows temp directory. They are all called cab_9370_2 or something like that. Some of the files are recent but many go back months, and some are even dated 2016. How comes they aren't deleted automatically when they are not needed?

Is it safe to delete them? Can I just do it manually or is there a program to do it?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

I've also found lots of files like these:
lpksetup-20130323-102730-0
HPSLPSVC0003

They're text documents, very small, but also some of them are years old. Should I delete them too?

If I can't figure out what a file it, I don't touch it - no matter how old it is.

People cause all sorts of problems by removing things that should not be removed.

Since I haven't a clue what those files are, if they were on my computer, I would not remove them.

I have an 80.1 GB partition for Windows 7 and after using the computer since 2009, I still have 41% free and I don't bother looking around for things to remove.
