Take 2: Still Looking for PC/Network Monitoring Software Suggestions

Hi Again!

Ok, insofar as I am aware, all other instances of my request have been either removed or requested to be removed from any other forum. PCHF should be the sole venue for this question. Again, apologies for the faux pas. In the interest of time (and 'cuz I'm lazy) I am simply doing a C&P of my OP below. Glasswire (thanks jmarket) and Charles proxy (thanks Pierre-S) have been suggested but if anyone can think of anything else it's always nice to have choices. Meanwhile I am boning up on the aforementioned two. :)

"Hi!

I am looking for the easiest, most resource friendly way to monitor and log all machine and particularly internet activity on my little home machine. I need to be able to refer back to any point in time and see what was happening during that period. I looked at Wireshark for internet traffic logging but trying to learn in hurt my brain. Assume I know nothing (very close to true) as I am not particularly tech savvy. Thanks!

Windows 7 Home Premium 64
Intel i3-2350M 2.30GHz
4.00 GB"
