system volume information

Hello, when I insert a USB stick into my PC, Windows /11/ automatically creates a folder: system volume information. This folder cannot be seen on the PC, but it can be seen on other devices where I want to play a movie, for example in Kodi player , see my photo.
How can I set Windows to no longer create this folder? regards, slawomir

Hit the Windows key + R. In the Run Dialogue that opens type gpedit.msc and hit Enter.

Navigate to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Search

In the right pane of the above-shown window, look for the setting named Do not allow locations on removable drives to be added to libraries and double click on it.

click on Enabled and then click Apply followed by OK.

Reboot.

This should fix the issue.
