Solved System 32 (Audioses.dll)

Right I thought I got somewhere, I gave myself rights to the System32 Folder (I think??) but it still wouldn't let me slide in the new Audioses.dll file in, so I'm stumped on that end.

In regards to the Windows 10 link, I actually tried that and booting it up fresh but that failed also..Think I should try it again?

Sure, When I last attempted a fresh Install of Windows 10 (2 days ago) it got to about 29% and brought up an error message and cancelled itself and said "no changes where made" or something similar. I currently have it Download Windows 10 as I type this currently on 15%.

Actually, I believe what happened is that it completed the Downloading Windows 10 but when it was trying to implement it, it stopped on that part around the 30% mark and brought up the error message, similar to if i tried doing a Windows Restart.

The error message received was (I just got it)

"Setup couldn't start properly. Please reboot your PC and try running Windows 10 setup again."

Tried resetting it multiple times the other day and it always led to the same error message.

Of course I'll give it a whirl!

Although quick question, can you explain the Partitioning? Is it just splitting up space?

Thanks for everything by the way folks! Have been extremely generous and patient with me!

If you need any help or have a question one of us will be around. Make sure you back up your data on a different drive and not the one you are installing on. Preferably an external drive.

That is correct.

Thanks for everything by the way folks! Have been extremely generous and patient with me!
That is why we are here.

Right, I've booted it up and I'm on the Partition Screen. I currently see

  • Name Total Free Type
  • Drive 0 Partition 1: System Reserved 100.0MB 55.0MB System
  • Drive 0 Partition 2 118.7GB 28.3GB Primary
  • Drive 0 Partition 3 490.0MB 105.0MB OEM (Reserved)
  • Drive 1 Partition 1 931.5MB 487.5GB Primary
Do i keep these and just go Next? Thanks!

Right, great news! It has reinstalled Windows successfully and there is no long Audioses.dll error and I have sound once again!

Thank you all very much, appreciate everything!

If there is anything I can do, let me know!

But Thanks a lot!
