Switching From 1 OS to Another A Lot

If you are referring to the hard drive, and a mechanical one at that then it could be argued that its actually better for the drive because there would be less defragmentation on a newly installed OS than that of a much used OS. But then one could twist this around to suit their argument.

The short answer is as Bruce said, NO
