Solved Stuttering in Games

Not open for further replies.
I have reinstalled windows without drivers, and i have them on my USB-Drive. The drivers are from:
---------------------------------------
What i have downloaded is the next:
-GPU Amd-software-adrenaline-edition(lastest RX 580 GPU driver)
-Amd-ryzen-master
-Chipset(v2.11.26.106)
-AMD_StoreMI
-Realtek_LAN(v10023)
-RAIDXpert2(v9.2.0.120)
-MotherboardUtility(v3.0.413)
-Floppy(v9.2.0.120)

About the Ram, i had the ram to XMP 2993 which is most stable before the reinstall(when there was still stuttering)

And the last thing, i have i installed the windows on my M.2 which is 111GB, i thought it's best coz its the fastest one on my pc.

I have reinstalled windows without drivers

When was this ?

Based on your hardware et the moment the only drivers that you need to worry about after clean installing Windows are the AMD chipset driver ver:2.11.26.106 no others are relevant.

The RAM is zero to do with any stuttering and to avoid it compounding the issue the RAM needs to be allowed to run at the speed that the CPU works best with.

No point in having a fast drive that is too small, once you get down to around the 35GB of free storage space range you are looking at data corruption.

The drivers and the RAM speed you must deal with now but the small SSD can be done in the next week or two.

If after increasing the RAM speed and correctly installing the chipset drivers the problem still occurs we need to know when exactly the problem happens, online gaming or even just siting on the desktop with no internet connection etc.

It was on 4/6/2023. I have downloaded the drivers and i have put them in the Flash Drive, after installing the windows without internet connection i have installed the drivers, and I think i started with the GPU driver first then everything else. Also when i had the other windows it was running 2993 full speed, and the stuttering was in games only.
Also where do you suggest to install the windows, on which drive exactly?

I have enabled XMP, seems like the stuttering in games (csgo) is worse now after installing windows with my own drivers, from the website's i have sent you.

As per my reply #20;

Windows is shown to be a recent install and unfortunately as so often happens the process has not been done correctly.

Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers, then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

I have downloaded the drivers and i have put them in the Flash Drive, after installing the windows without internet connection i have installed the drivers, and I think i started with the GPU driver first then everything else.

As per my replies 20 and #22;

Regarding your last post, no point in going any further until ( A ) you have clean installed Windows and ( B ) installed the divers in the correct order, AMD chipset first and not the GPU drivers.

Try doing a reset from within Windows choosing the keep nothing option, then while disconnected from the internet install the chipset drivers that you have saved, turn off the PC, reconnect the LAN cable, restart and install your storage and GPU drivers and see how things go.

Not around for a while now so no rush on my behalf.

I reinstalled the windows, and i have installed it on my SSD which is 200GB. I have enabled XMP profile and i have installed drivers in order > Chipset > GPU > Other ones. The stuttering is still there.

Which requires an internet connection.

Not a gamer myself so not much help when it comes to FPS but over the years through helping people I have found that when it comes to online gaming there are three things that hinder gaming, a poor internet connection, browser security plug ins and using VPNs, sort them and you are usually good to go.

Something for you to do to see how your present set up handles video when not online gaming;

Use the free versions at the following links;

Stress test your GPU with Furmark

Check your FPS etc with SUPERPOSITION

Here is the result from the test:
There is no stutter while doing FurMark test, the GPU is 100% usage.

I think its the internet now, since i was playing cs1.6 offline without any stutter.

What did I say way back in my reply #16 :unsure: correct drivers installation affects everything as the chipset drivers are what enables the MB to be able to communicate with other components such as the LAN ports etc.

Internet is not my forte but would suggest that you try Firefox instead of Chrome and don`t use any game associated add on/s such as FaceIt etc.

FF needs to be made your default browser and games played without any fancy add on garbage running.

Additional test that you should do, try streaming a video or two, if no stutter in them you know that it is the games servers or a fancy add on causing the problem rather than the internet connection itself.
