I am trying to fix a laptop for my Nanna all of a sudden it has got stuck in a automatic repair loop. The laptop starts up and on the next screen it says preparing automatic repair and after about 30 seconds of that it goes to a black screen and just stays like that.
All of the solutions I have seen to fix this on the internet have either said to use the system recovery or a fresh install of windows. The problem is that I can't get into the system recovery, boot from usb or enter the bios.
It is a lenovo laptop and has a button which you can press next to the power button which brings up options of either Normal startup, Bios, Boot from CD/USB or System recovery but pressing any of these options just does the same thing as a normal start up and ends up in the preparing automatic repair loop again. I have tried every key combination during start up that I could find to try and enter to bios or boot from USB but i'm having no luck with any of them I just get the same screen over and over.
Does anyone have any suggestions on anything else I can try to either enter the bios or boot from a USB?
Thanks.
