Hello,
I've just bought a C27F390 27" and I really like it. However, the only problem is that when certain colourful or very dark/very bright pictures are on screen, the monitor makes a strange 'buzzing' noise. It's very, very quiet (I suspect a lot of people would struggle to hear it), but it's just audible enough to be very irritating. This is the SECOND C27F390 model that I've bought (I returned the first assuming I just got a faulty one)...
The only cables going into the monitor are the HDMI cable and the power cable. I've also connected it to my laptop but the problem persists. I also, on the advice of a Samsung agent, performed a factory reset of the device, but no luck.
When I contacted Samsung support they advised I send it off for repair, however I can't work for 2 weeks without a monitor and if I just return it (again) to Amazon, I can have a replacement within a couple of days.
Before I replace it, can someone do their best to explain to me what I'm experiencing and whether anything can be done at my end? I'm now worried I'll pick another monitor with the same fault, but there were no reviews mentioning this weird defect!
Many thanks!
