Hi, I have an unusual issue I believe. My Dell laptop with Windows 10 is constantly running low on storage despite the fact that I have deleted 100GB+ of files multiple times over the last couple weeks, including files from OneDrive. I have deleted 60GB of files a few days ago and now it says my storage is full again and I only have 144MB left. Total storage is 256GB. I DID NOT download anything at all, I only use Chrome on my laptop and have no large software installed. I use Kaspersky for security. I have disabled automatic updates.

When I check the storage settings, it says 70GB of installed apps, although when I click on it and see the individual size of apps installed, it's hardly more than 10GB.

I have no idea what is causing this as I did not have this issue a few months ago and I did not change any settings - I only use Chrome 90% of the time.

I will be grateful for any help with this.

Thanks!

Do you have File History enabled? This usually runs every hour backing up personal files & unless older backups are manually deleted then it’ll save files forever.
